2024 Mighty Mac Fest Films

Screenings  - All films will be screened at the Little Bear East Arena conference center. Please see film times below (in addition there will be a program flyer available at the entrance to the Little Bear facility).

Industry Guests - All networking and breakout sessions with special industry guests America Young, Sean Sorensen, and Lyliana Wray will now be held at the arena section of Little Bear Arena adjacent to the film screening room. ​​

Killer Kabbage - Two warriors (and we use that term loosely) travel back in time to save mankind from the "Kabbage Apocalypse". Directed by Michael Anthony Dotson and Jude Reed. (Friday 10/4 6:00 pm)

 

Back to Alaska- Chronicling filmmaker Robert Prince's journey to purchase a 1982 DeLorean and, with help from his friend, drive the vehicle from Michigan back to his home in Alaska. (Friday 10/4 8:00 pm)

 

Goons, Guns, & The Gumshoe- Filmmaker Jim Menza tells the tale of an old school detective who encounters a wild array of characters and mayhem while on a search to locate a missing woman. (Saturday 10/5 10:00 am)

 

It's A Cop Thing 2 The Last Laugh-  Two police veterans attempt to stop corruption in the Cheboygan Police Department in their own "unique" style.  Directed by Matt Kwiatkowski. (Sunday 10/6 3:45 pm)

 

Cast & Crew - Director Jason Taylor is sure to appease fans of Kevin Smith and The Office with this hilarious look at the inner workings and relationships of an independent film production. (Saturday 10/5 6:00 pm)

Run Rabbit-  A series of brutal murders greenlit with "catholic authority" cause a web of conspiracies to unravel and a notorious crime syndicate to go on high alert in this stylish thriller from Justin Rose. (Saturday 10/5 8:00 pm)

The Hitchhiker Effect- When his eccentric neighbors stop by and refuse to leave, a conspiracy theorist in a contentious personal relationship sees his reality come undone as he tries to connect the events around him to the growing paranormal experiences he keeps witnessing.
